Our flagship event, the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards Show brings songwriters who represent the spirit of Texas into the spotlight for a unique ceremony and performance in Austin on March 4th, 2012 at Austin City Limits Live at Moody Theater in downtown Austin. We bestow the appellation "Texas Heritage Songwriter" upon them and present them with an enduring award, followed by a live music performance. This year's honorees are Townes Van Zandt, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen. Danny King will be honored with the Darrell K Royal Patron Award.
